Pretty is as pretty does.

This is wisdom was passed to me from my mom since before I can even remember. And over the years its meaning has expanded and contracted with the times, and with my ego. But at this point in my life, I have learned that it is the key to real beauty. We all have good genes, good looks, nice hair, great skin, pretty eyes or a combination thereof. But what lies behind the eyes is what determines your true beauty. All the lipstick in the world can't hide an ugly soul.
